It is a prayer of the Lord offered up in earnest love for people while He was hanging on the cross to save them. Manmin Central Church's Performing Arts Committee is preparing for the Easter Performance 2014 entitled 'Tears'.

The performance starts with the martyrdom of Apostle Paul and Jesus' disciples who lived only for the Lord. Jesus' ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension are depicted on the stage.

The overall general managing director for 'Tears' is Pastor Heejin Lee, Deaconess Jin Lee, administrator of Performing Arts Committee directs the music, and Deacon Hangu Kim, vice conductor of Nissi Orchestra conducts it. The performing team members of Performing Arts Committee and United Choir perform together. Also, outsourced theater professionals take charge in light and special effects, which draws much anticipation.

Easter Performance is rendered annually during the 2nd half of Friday All-night Service before Easter Sunday. It deeply touches the audiences and delivers the love of the Lord to them. In particular, since 2009, it has been produced with God-given songs and storyline, which impressed viewers even more.

In 2009, the performance 'Reminiscence' depicted with special effects that Jesus reminisced about the past days on Gethsemane prior to the night of His crucifixion.

'The Love of Our Lord' was performed in 2010. It allowed audiences to hear Mary Magdalene's confession to Jesus who was hung on the cross and the confession of Peter who denied Jesus three times before He took the cross.

'The Way of the Lord,' the Easter Performance 2011 was delivered with a dance drama of angels who were with Jesus during His ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.

In the performance 'The Name of Love, Jesus Christ,' in 2012, Apostle Paul recollected Jesus' public ministry and engraved the love of the cross. In 'The Lord Is the Christ', in 2013, Mary Magdalene, Apostles Peter and John looked back upon the time with Jesus. The performances delivered the Lord's endless love to people.

The church members have lived with the Word and prayer in a devout manner with a longing heart for Easter Sunday to achieve the heart of the Lord.

This Easter Performance will run on the special stage in the main sanctuary during the second half of Friday All-night Service on April 18, 2014. People throughout the world will be able to watch it through GCN (www.gcntv.org).
