Scripture

1 Corinthians 2:10
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is not long before Christmas comes. On Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus who came to this earth and put on the flesh to redeem us from our sins. While performing His duty on this earth, Jesus said in John 16:7, "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away." And He said, "For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you." He means that it is better for Jesus to leave and for the Helper to come than it would be for Jesus to stay with them.

At that time the disciples didn't understand what He meant. From their point of view they thought it would be better for Jesus to stay with them. Later they came to understand from their hearts the meaning of what Jesus had spoken.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
After Jesus completed His earthly ministry and resurrected and ascended into heaven, He sent a Helper to us: the Helper is the Holy Spirit. In John 14:16 Jesus said, "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever." The Helper refers to the Divine Person who will help us. Jesus performed the duty of a Helper during His earthly ministry, and He is saying another Helper would come and succeed to the duty.

Why then did Jesus say that it is to our advantage that another Helper Holy Spirit will come and abide with us? The original ministry of Jesus is to pave the path to salvation that will release mankind that sinned from their sins and allow for them to become saved children of God. Anyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior can be made righteous by faith and gain the right to become children of God.

But gaining the right does not mean it is the completion of our salvation. Jesus did complete the ministry of salvation as the Savior. However the work is of no use to people unless they believe in heart that Jesus is their Savior. In addition, if the believers in Christ depart from the boundaries of salvation again, it will cause the work of His precious blood to be in vain for them.

Thus, the enemy Satan and devil continually hinder people from accepting Jesus as their Savior and will continue until the history of human cultivation comes to an end. The enemy also hinders the children of God who have accepted the Lord and they use all kinds of means and methods try to distance God's children once again from salvation.

Father God knew beforehand that after Jesus finished His ministry as the Savior another Helper would be required to succeed to the ministry and complete the ministry of salvation. This other Helper that assumes this responsibility and performs this duty is the Holy Spirit. God knew what a fierce war against the enemy devil and Satan this ministry would be so He sent our Helper the Holy Spirit to be among us in a very special way. God let the Holy Spirit dwell in the hearts of the believers.

Jesus said in John 14:17, "that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you." The Holy Spirit abides with us and He is in us, and what kind of ministry does He perform in detail?

I will explain about His ministry in three aspects, and I wish for you to examine how much you have felt and experienced the Holy Spirit in your believing life. I pray in the name of the Lord you all may rely on the Holy Spirit more and more and come forth as perfect fruits in the providence of Father God in this end time of the world.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Helper Holy Spirit, first of all, helps us have the realization of righteousness.

God sent Jesus Christ to this earth to solve the problem of mankind's sins. Jesus was crucified, poured out all water and blood, and drew His last, but because He had no sin at all, He overcame death and resurrected and thus He completed the ministry of salvation. He became the first-fruit of the resurrection and appeared before Father God.

Thus, anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and accepts Him as the Savior can be forgiven of their sins and receives the Holy Spirit as a gift. They can be justified freely only through the work of the precious blood of Jesus Christ. But you should not stop only at this grace. From this point on you have to live a righteous life. It requires the ministry of the Holy Spirit of you.

To live a righteous life means 'to struggle against and throw away sins even until the point of shedding blood and to lead a godly life according to the word of God.' The Holy Spirit helps us live such a righteous life. In John 14: 26, Jesus said, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." And in John 16:13, He also said, "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth..."

The Holy Spirit teaches the children of God the truth, brings it to their remembrances, and guides them into the truth so that they can lead a righteous life in the truth. It is so natural that the church and a pastor that are led by the Holy Spirit should teach and guide the believers in casting off sins and live in righteousness. It is for this true purpose that Father God has been cultivating mankind to the point of giving up His only begotten Son. He wishes for you not to end up merely a saved child of God, but to come forth as a true child of God who resembles Him.

For the last 35 years since the foundation, this church has unceasingly taught the believers to live in righteousness. This church has not only taught, but has provided souls with the fullness, grace, and strength to practice it. The church has guided people to become righteous to the point of the sacrifice of filling the measure of justice on their behalf. As that result, many fruits of whole spirit, near-whole-spirit, spirit and the rock of faith have been borne.

Now most of the members stay awake and have their heart circumcised to live in righteousness. There are the fruits of the Holy Spirit that have been borne since the Holy Spirit has helped them not only to realize righteousness but to accomplish righteousness. I pray in the name of the Lord that you all may try your best more and more to accomplish righteousness and come forth as perfect fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Holy Spirit, secondly, helps us have the realization of judgment.

During the 33 years that Jesus was living on this earth, He carried out His ministry during His three-year public life. But the ministry of the Holy Spirit lasts until the last moment of the history of human cultivation. It continues until the Lord comes again to take us back home. The Holy Spirit feels impatience in His heart. It is because He desires everyone to participate in salvation and be lifted up into heaven when the trumpet of the Return sounds on the last day.

Of course, the last moment of each one's life on this earth is also the day of Judgment to them even before the Lord comes again. That's why the Holy Spirit cannot but proclaim without ceasing the Lord and the Judgment that will come.

Matthew 12:18 says, "Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen; My Beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased; I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles." It means through the Holy Spirit, God will let the Gentiles know about the Judgment.

But today, evils have become increasing rampant in the world, and the conscience of people is also becoming stained with more evils. Many of the more elderly people had at least a vague understanding that evil people would be punished after death and they had reverent fear of the heaven. How about today? Even believers in Christ are becoming numbed to the Judgment. Such people live the same life as that of those worldly people who say they can only accept the reality of the judgment after death. If they really believe the Judgment will come, they cannot live such lives.

Regrettably many of them think once they accepted and believe the Lord as their Savior they would surely be saved in any case.(once saved always saved doctrine) They do not know how people will be judged on the last day, what the criteria of Judgment are and what the result of Judgment will be. They just think they will be able to be saved by their faith.

But concerning such people, in Matthew 7:21, Jesus exclaimed, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."

If a person truly believes that his or her every word and every deed will be judged later without exception, he would never be able to speak such words and perform such deeds if being judged. Jesus said in Matthew 12:36, "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." And 2 Corinthians 5:10 says, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."

But how many people are bringing such judgment to their remembrance at every piece of word and at every deed? On the contrary those who are according to the works of the Holy Spirit are led by the Holy Spirit at every moment by means of His urging in their heart and His voice. They don't have to think in detail whether or not they should say this and do that, what kind of word they should say in a certain situation, and how they should behave. They will naturally say words of truth and do deeds of truth by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit guides the children of God to receive praises, honor, and glory before the throne of God on the Day of Judgment. If any of them obeys and follows only the Holy Spirit's guidance, they will not be judged with dreadful punishments, but for glorious rewards.

I believe now Manmin's members are not afraid of the word "Judgment" but wait for it with overflowing hope and expectation. I pray in the name of the Lord you all may be led by the Holy Spirit every day and forcefully advance to a better dwelling place of Heaven daily so that you can stand in glory before the Great White Throne on the Day of Judgment.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Helper Holy Spirit, thirdly, helps us understand the heart of Father God.

1 Corinthians 2:10 says, "For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God." Our life with the knowledge of Father God who created us and has been cultivating us on this earth is totally different from any other way.

So, the Holy Spirit always helps us understand the heart of Father God. Romans 5:5 says, "... and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." The Holy Spirit pours out the love of Father God within our hearts and helps us realize it.

It is concerning how deep Father God loves us mankind, how abounding His mercy and unfailing love is, and how long He waits and how patiently He endures. It is possible because the Holy Spirit searches and knows the depths of the heart of Father God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Since the foundation of this church, the Holy Spirit has continually explained and taught about the spiritual realm. He has revealed it to the extent you could see and touch it with your eyes and hands. He has displayed the spiritual world on this earth so that you could feel more tangibly the invisible God the Father and run the race of faith more actively.

And it has showed the heart of Father God through numerous manifestations of power. Because I have without ceasing explained to you about Father God, His heart, and His origin, now many of have come to possess the faith of fathers who know Father God who has been from the beginning just as written in John 2:14 which says, "I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning." What I mean to say is that many of you have come to have the faith of spirit and whole spirit, and many more are on the way to stand on the rock.

But such fruits could not have been borne at all if the Holy Spirit had not let you know the heart and origin of Father God. In John 17:8, Jesus said to Father God, "for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me"

In a same way that Jesus did, the Holy Spirit also came from the Father and was sent by the Father, and the Holy Spirit has taught you only the words that the Father gave to Him. That's why you have been able to understand the origin and heart of Father God by the Holy Spirit. In addition, Romans 8:27 says, "and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God."

The Holy Spirit is interceding for us according to the will of God so that we may completely change and become true children of God. By this help of the Holy Spirit the believers of this church have been able to restore the image of God and resemble Him and then become His true children. This church has become a beautiful church because it has been led by the remarkable works of the Holy Spirit for the last 36 years and the believers have also come to clearly understand Father God and resemble Him by the works of the Holy Spirit.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As Jesus said in John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit," only that that is born of the Holy Spirit is spirit. It means people can become a person of spirit only by the works of the Holy Spirit. For this the Holy Spirit unceasingly helps us. Romans 8:26 says, "In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." The Holy Spirit knows us better than we know ourselves and loves us more than we love ourselves.

With this heart He is interceding for us and filling up the measure of justice on our behalf. The fruits that have been borne though His ministry are Manmin Church and all members. What we will do in the future is really great and awesome. It will be done by the works of the Holy Spirit, too.

Luke 4:18-19 says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." According to this Scripture, you and I have to spread the gospel to the poor and set free the captives of sins of the world by the works of the Holy Spirit. We have to heal people who are suffering from all kinds of diseases and infirmities and proclaim the way of salvation to those who are going the way of death oppressed by the burden of sins.

And this we have to exclaim to the whole world the favor of the Lord and the glory of God. I pray in the name of the Lord we all may be partakers in this blessed ministry and fully cover the earth with the fiery works of the Holy Spirit in the end time of the world.
